Beaches

Along the coastline of the Mar Manor and the Mediterranean you will find miles of sandy, warm, beaches and coves. Starting from Torre de la Horadada, San Pedro, Lo Pagan to Los Alcazares there is a different type of beach for every day of your holiday.

Shopping

There is a very well stocked supermarket on site and also a perfumery, optician and beauty shop. Dos Mares shopping complex has a wide selection of shops and food court. it also has the Eroski supermarket and amusement park with bowling. Cartagena has a large Carrefour supermarket and an El Corte Ingles department store. Cartegana town has many winding streets that offers a selection of typical Spanish shops and high street brands. Murcia`s wide avenues are lined with a great selection of high street brand shops and has a very large El Corte Ingles department store. Wandering around the back streets of the town heading in the direction of the Cathedral you will find many dwindling lanes with exclusive little shops and boutiques if you are looking for that something different. Local markets are open all year and there is a different one to visit every day of the week.

Restaurants

On the resort is the selection of excellent restaurants to include Spanish, Italian and English cuisine and even an Irish Pub. In addition to these are several restaurants on the Mar Manor resort including the 5* Intercontinental Hotel. If you wish to go further afield you can find many good restaurants in Los Alcazares, Murcia, Cartegena and along the Le Manga strip.

Golf Information:

The golf course at La Torre was designed by Nicklaus Design and offers 18 holes, par 68 and four sets of tees. (Please note only the first 9 holes are open at present). The course features over five hectares of sophisticated bunkers that separate the holes, creating strategic points which provide added value to the shots. Plus a denser grass that has been planted around the bunkers, creating the optimum wind shot effect. The course is ideal for both average players as well as those with a high handicap. Those staying at La Torre can also use the golf facilities of other Polaris World Resorts including the Mar Menor which is only a 10 minute drive away. There are many other courses available in the area including the famous La Manga Club, Hacienda Del Alamo, La Finca, Altorreal, Mosa Trajectum, Las Rambles, Villa Martin and Campoamor.
