The Costa Blanca, or White Coast, has been a popular destination for British holiday makers for many years. Stretching 170 miles along the Mediterranean, its centre is the vibrant capital Alicante, which hosts spectacular fiestas and cultural events virtually all year round. The pretty coastal towns of Denia, Javea and Calpe frame the northern Costa Blanca, which is mainly mountainous green and lush. The property market in this area is probably the most mature in the Costa Blanca, but it is still possible to find luxurious villas and apartments within smart urbanizations and golfing villages which represent excellent value for money. To the south of Alicante you will find the beautiful old town of Torrevieja, and the fine sandy coves of the Orihuela Costa, which continue to be popular with tourists and a growing number of British residents.

Just south of the Costa Blanca is the Costa Calida which boasts the spectacular Mar Menor and the smart internationally renowned resort of La Manga, The Costa Calida is more Spanish than its neighbour, and quieter, but is beginning to attract a growing number of UK tourists and property investors.
